In the second edition of his Shiny Whale show Kalumet salutes to Vertigo Records, the Russian psytrance label, selecting from their latest releases on the Trance channel. From Tuesday 8pm CET.
Kalumet is one of the oldest Hungarian psytrance producers who once famous of his tribal progressive style nowadays rather makes nighttime dancefloors jump around with his suomi inspired night psychedelic sounds. While constantly touring with his funky psytrance and chill-out live sets - next up: the annual Transcarpathiart party in the mountains of Western Ukraine this weekend - Kalumet recently released a digital EP on Sangoma Records called "Sheer Liquid Wonderment". Almost a mini-album with five brand new titles on it the new Kalumet EP brings all those quirky melodies and even some retro goatrance vibes and hypnotically pounding rhythms: fun and twisted night psychedelic music, just as it is expected in his second Shiny Whale Show!
The forthcoming projects of Kalumet includes a four-track techno EP for Horns And Hoofs Records and the darker side of his psytrance: Ork Monk has an upcoming release as well, "Hardcore Shanti" EP with four new tracks is coming up on HippyFlip Records.
