Dako Kala: I originally come from Macedonia, but i've been living in Slovenia for the past couple of years. I got a degree in Sound Engineering at the SAE institute in Ljubljana and you can almost always find me busy with sound and sound design. Besides being active as one part of Kala with Zoran Prodanov, and managing Forestdelic records i enjoy DJing also, and have been playing at parties and festivals around Europe in Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Serbia, Macedonia, Ukraine, Georgia, Malta and Brazil to name some. I prefer a morning forest sound in my sets, but also i enjoy mixing night stuff and my sets are always marked by the Forestdelic sound and are mainly the selection of tunes that are going to be released soon by the label. Forestdelic itself was born in 2011 in Slovenia as a collaboration between myself and Dejan Milakovic (with whom we produce music under the name Dhar Mhar) and Joe, the painter and designer responsible for the artworks for Boom Festival's clothing in 2006, legendary Glowing Flame records' cover artworks and many other pieces for festivals, events and clothing worldwide. After the first parties being thrown in Slovenia we have released our first compilation 'Wicked Gail's Trail' and dedicated our efforts since then in releasing quality and fresh psychedelic music, featuring both morning as well as deep night sound. The second release was the 'Acid Thunder' EP by Phobos Azazel who joined us in the middle of 2013. We are also very glad to have our good old friend Ognen Zafirovski aka Yudhisthira along in our family with whom we released our second EP 'Ruminate'. Currently Dejan is working on our second full length compilation called 'Light of the Night' which is about to be released in mid March this year, and will present more of the night sound of Forestdelic records. Soon after we have another EP by the austrian artist Manju coming out, and later this year our third compilation compiled by Ogi from Yudhisthira and myself. Artists like Aodioiboa, Distorted Goblin, Evocation, Goch, Storytellers, Elliptic, Soladria, Spirit Architect, Smrgoda, Lacerta can also be seen in our releases.
