Andreia Mendes, aka DJ Fada, has been involved with electronic music festivals since 2003, when she joined the troupe Scenography Fluorescent Artfluor in Vitória / ES - Brazil. Over time, there was a need to create a different environment, a more cozy place to rest following another line of electronic psychedelic musicianship. So chillout appeared. It was an opportunity to explore the practice of djing and researching sounds beyond traditional ambient music. With experiences and discoveries of this environment, their understanding and passion for chillout settled to experience the energies evoked through music and the interactions unfolded through socialization among the public. In her DJ mixes Fada seeks to create a sonic journey with deep atmospheres and tribal rhythms with hypnotic music and sounds that elevate the state of consciousness for its beauty, harmony and feeling, and opening doors to a world of dancing reflections and personal evolution. She explores aspects as psychill, psydub, psyambient, ethnochill, downtempo and IDM. With 10 years on the road, currently DJ Fada lives in São Paulo and is part of the collective Cymatic Lab - Immersive Art Experience and Merkaba Music Records, also Urobors Records with her psyprog djset.
