Martian Arts presents his live set inspired by yesterday's riffs pushing forward in new styles on 24th October 2013 Thursday 8pm CET.
Martian Arts aka Disco Hooligan, is Nectarios Meidanis. A BSc certified audio tech engineer and sound designer aficionado, that loves psychedelic music. Started listening and partying in 1994 and got hooked on the psychedelic trance music, straight away. In 2000 he moved to the UK to study Audio & Music Technology and graduated with honours from the 3 year course, in 2003. Started releasing psy-trance in 2005 under the "Unison" project. He was writing and producing the music for the "Disco Hooligans" project and started his solo project "Martian Arts" in 2011 where he has collaborated with top names of the scene, including "Manmademan" and some new projects with "Audioform" where they formed the "Ohmnidrive" project, "Black Noise" and "JP". Has been releasing music under his various projects, on various labels, including, Etnicanet, Ektoplazm, Neurobiotic Records, Mutagen Records, Goa Productions, Blue hour Sounds, Phantasm Records, Hyperflow, Tago Mago, Gee Spot Recordings, Distinctive Records, Audio Therapy, Dieb Audio, StreetWise, Fabric LIVE, Brighton Breaks…to name but a few.
