“I was born in Russia in a diplomatic family, later moved to Algeria, grew up in Hungary.
I started playing the flute at the age of 12, but later my attention turned towards acting. I got a contract in a famous theatre in Hungary, but I couldn' t bare the 4 walls, so in search of wisdom I left all my schools for travelling.
In Egypt I already knew that I needed to become a professional percussionist.
I became a desciple of Khamis Henkesh a very gifted and wellknown Egyptian percussionist and learned his technics.
My obsession for flutes became stronger and stronger every year, continued my studies in Turkey, India Senegal and Gambia. I mastered myself on the Ney and still mastering Egyptian Kawala, Fulani African flute, Hungarian and Bulgarian Kaval and the Bansuri.
All are made from bamboo and very spiritual instrumets.
I love to play with all kind of musicians from Jazz to elektronic music.
A few years ago I started to practice yoga, I am now composing many healing music with reed flutes and percussion for yoga, meditation and trance dance retreat.
There is a lot to express with music, my goal is to find our very nature and real self.
I was playing with great names in showbusiness like: Okay Temiz, Ayman Mabrouk, Fathy Salama and many musicians from all over the world.
In 2011 we won 1st price in Folkbeats talent contest and an American tour.”
