After achieving her psychology degree, Nika works in Russia until 2008 as model, TV journalist, music editor, party organizer and always closer to the party movement she constantly follows the evolution of psychedelic trance and of its international gatherings.
After visiting Goa for the first time in 2007, surrounded by hippies and insiders, she feels the need of a deeper interaction with that music and its philosophy, till getting to the idea of starting to play.
Running this strong feeling, Nika immediately completes a Dj course in Moscow in 2008 and consequently moves to Goa for living and for playing.
Since 2008 Nika plays currently in Goa and all over India, becoming representative of the Russian team Aerodance and the international team Goa Freak Community.
Her style is strong and dynamic and her performance is often enriched by a powerful trance dance.
She can rock any kind of dancefloor with expertise and charme and she's able to show a special taste of psytrance, expressing the perfect fusion between the powerful Russian-European influences and the contemporary Goa trance.
On August 2011 she played in Montenegro for the 5th edition Sonica Festival and since then she starts to collaborate with Sonica Recordings.
In February 2012 dj Nika join Dj Gino Sonica into a new and innovative Dj-duo project called Twin Lights, a unique digital dj-set percussing cool and acid rhythms to wrap the crowd into exciting and stimulating sound-waves.
By special request of the organizers Nika can play progressive trance, techno, ambiant, psy chill-out, but the main musical focus is contemporary Goa trance.
